Yale Appliance Protection Program
Coverage length: 5 years total from delivery. Yale Appliance’s plan begins after the manufacturer warranty ends and runs through year five.
What’s covered: 100% of diagnostic fees, parts, and labor with in-home service; no deductible.
Food-loss allowance: Up to $250 (lifetime) on covered fridge/freezer failures.
“Give-Back Half” credit: If you never use the plan, get 50% store credit (must be purchased before delivery, credit valid 90 days).
Islands service (Marthas Vineyard & Nantucket):Apr–Sep: Yale Appliance books ferry at no extra charge. Oct–Mar: a transportation fee applies.

What’s included
- During Yale Appliance’s Warranty Period: diagnostic, labor, and parts (performed by Yale Appliance or an authorized Yale Appliance provider). No 1-800 runaround.
- In-home repairs; Yale may replace with similar-feature product if parts/product are unavailable.
What’s not included
- Normal wear & tear or power surges.
- Cosmetic parts after 30 days (handles/bins/shelves/knobs, etc.).
- Outdoor products, certain small-appliance categories (e.g., coffee makers, trash compactors, steam closets), and commercial‑use appliances.
“Give-Back Half” eligibility
- Plan must be unused (no Yale Extended Warranty service calls/dispatch/invoices).
- Warranty must be purchased before delivery; returns are ineligible. Credit is valid 90 days.
- Transferable only if the product stays at the original address; the credit itself is not transferable.
