Frequently Asked Questions
Does Yale Appliance offer extended warranties or protection plans?
Yes. Yale offers 5-year Parts & Labor protection from the date of delivery, with no deductible, in-home service, a food-loss allowance, and an exclusive 50% store credit if the plan goes unused. Yale's coverage begins after the manufacturer's warranty ends and runs through year five.
What is the warranty process like with Yale Appliance?
During the manufacturer's warranty, the maker handles service. After it expires, Yale's Extended Warranty covers 100% of diagnostic fees, parts, and labor through Yale Appliance or an authorized Yale Appliance provider from the delivery date through year five. To coordinate service, contact customerservice@yaleappliance.com or call (617) 822-5360. For Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, Yale books transportation at no charge April–September; October–March a transportation fee applies.
Is Yale Appliance's 5-year replacement parts warranty worth it?
It's compelling if you want five years of coverage with no co-pay, in-home service, and a 50% "give-back" store credit if you never use it, especially for built-ins and higher-end appliances. (Yale Appliance also shares pros/cons of extended warranties on its blog.)
